Money Changes Everything.

The pop star  Cyndi Lauper, with her hit, Money Changes Everything, if nothing else certainly had a great title for her song.

For quite some time I have know the value and importance of having a really excellent domain. I have endured hearing (and forgive me if I deliberately chose not to actively listen) to all the convoluted logic that the self professed know it alls of all topics have expounded on why a domain is not an important thing.

Editors Note: The author of this article, often takes a significant digression from the stated topic. We simply wanted to make you aware of this fact. There may be a few connected sentences at the end of the second edited version, yet we have already requested a more comprehensive treatise as an entirely different post.

So here is the answer for all those folks who mainly speak because they like to hear the sound of their own voice. I have located a website, although I really do not want to share the link here, but you can jot it down, it’s captioned below:

http://rxt87qtpr9.com

So please fell free to tell everyone who you know that this website supports every single thing you have said.

Okay so for those who just joined in, I hope no one actually tried to go to the website listed above. It is unfortunately one of the things I am sometimes guilty of, and that it taking a long round-a-bout journey, regarding topics, not necessarily even remotely related to the thing I came to this website to write about.

Since we have already gone way off topic, I thought I would share a link a two, regarding using different color in your web pages:

http://www.colorpicker.com/

First of lets look at the name,.. oh this website must somehow help me find these codes that are impossible to remember. Oh, that’s right remembering things is difficult. Are you likely to remember, #006400, its not that hard, and if you do, then will know what the computer calls the color you are viewing now.

But guess what, although the rainbow of color possibilities might truly be grand, do you think you can simply pick any color, and it will work in your WordPress blog.

Guess Again!

Now we can learn how to make our blocks of text behave the way we have been wanting it to for quite some. It might not work out perfectly, as in this case, but if we do not try, and yes sometimes fail, then we will simply never even get onto to the proper path of how to figure out the answer:

Thats exactly what I did here. The reason I shared the

first link, is because that’s the first one I tried. When the color

value I got did not work, well then I remembered the term:

Color Safe, and revised my google search

and then found the proper website that provided the proper codes for the colors that you are seeing here right now. Sometime in life, you have to make a few incorrect choices before landing upon the right choice. The same is true for the way the spacing is shown above. All I wanted to do was to float a block of text in the middle, but have apparently not yet figured out how to do so.

And there is your explanation (within an explanation) as to why I have not yet even gotten to the topic of money.

There really is nothing particularly pretty about money. Here in the US there is certain grayish green color associated with it (bug report– in google chrome I used the spell checker (gray and not grey) and the whole font color and style reverted!

Yet the importance of money, is what we can do with it rather than just having it for it’s own sake. So the issue regarding money, from the perspective of this website, is   how to get the best bang for your buck when money is understandably always going to be a difficult issue for most aspiring, and not yet established website developers.

This website is not about presenting some sort of “little known” secrets. We do not pretend to hold the keys to your future success. This website is here to discuss the real details, inherent in the development of websites, as they relate to individuals who are currently working on, or have a plan to begin creating a website for either artistic self expression, or as a hobby, or in order to earn money.

We do not have all the answers yet it is particularly important in being careful when taking on additional expenses.

Many of the  products which are available that streamline website development also come with a monthly price tag. Take it from me, the $17.00 month, or $29.00 per month, or even figures moving into the range of $50/month.

(like for obtaining certain medium volume VPS Hosting for your wesite) might sound like reasonable cost to run a business based on projected potential earnings.

However the typical Developer is going to be Extremely UNREALISTIC about how much time it will take to turn an idea, or vision, into a profitable website.

A Truly Inspired Website Developer Will Likely Have His Mind On Many Things– Develop Something In Accordance With Your Skills.

Therefore early in Development there will be an UNNECESSARY taking on of expenses which can’t be justified, based on need.

The simple, yet not ever likely to be popular answer, is to start off small and build up the platform as you grow. You need to understand that you as the primary optimist in your very small team, is going to make unwise expenditures, which he feels is justified by the incredible potential profits that are there for his taking.

Starting off lean and small, will reduce your carrying costs, and provide the time you need to build your first prototype with commonly known and well justified suggestions that are often referred to as bootstrapping.

Author’s explanation of the first half of this post.

Writing for me, is primarily a form a self expression.  The hardest task that I was ever confronted with was totally removing my own “voice” from my writing. A perfect example being, while working on my master’s thesis in secondary education in the teaching of science, it was nearly impossible to utilize the “detached scientific perspective”  that my professor was particularly vigilant in demanding.

Today, I do not have a professor insisting that things must be done a certain way. As for the task of finding funding that will be absolutely essential for establishing any of the more complex ventures, I realize that this task will require some loss of independence, because most investors will have their own requirements.

Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to freely sharing some more information regarding how to launch your first lean start-up. An informal guide for people who are  actively developing a web based venture.
